Despite the so-so reviews I found "The Front Runner" an excellent, well-written film with stand out performances. Hugh Jackman delivers a performance that is riveting and simmering with a virtuoso's control - and Kudos to ALL the actors involved. Every scene had something I could hang my hat on... The responsibility of ethics in media, the insatiable hunger for scandal, society's sexual taboo's verses actual morality are thrown into a boiling pot that emerge entertaining, intense and thought provoking. A plus!

If you watch it, pay attention to the long opening scene with no visible cuts. It's not as obvious as the opening scene in DePalma's "Snake Eyes" or Orson Welles "A Touch of Evil" - but it's quite an accomplishment.

Have a great day
