that has volume adjustment? My aging Oppo has it but I missed getting the last of the 203's so someday I will be searching for one.

TIA

You can still get the 203 shipped from Asia -

Just type in Oppo 203 Hong Kong in google and check through the various offers. Switch the voltage and you're done - you may still be able to get the 205 as well. I just walked by a shop selling the 203 in the window here.

This is one example - but you may find it cheaper via google.

Why do you need a Volume Control on the player? nt, posted on October 22, 2018 at 09:09:31

You'd only need it if you were using your BD player as a preamp with analog output set for variable volume, which the Oppo players can do. I did try this with my 103 when my AVR was in for repair. It sounded awful. An old Carver C-1 preamp did a much better job, even though I wasn't able to use my subwoofers (Carver has no sub output--it was made in 1983 or so).

Thanks, my Marantz 7007 doesn't have that. nt, posted on October 25, 2018 at 06:41:16

My Sony CD players had variable output.
Not as good as fixed into Mac Preamp.

make no mention nor have any specs concerning volume control. It seems everyone expects you to have a processor or receiver.
