This guy goes through some factoids of Laserdisc - I still have around 50 movies left - unfortunately my player died.

I collected laserdiscs for about 15 years and owned all of the top Pioneer LD players including the CLD-97 and CLD-99 among many others. I've got about 200 laserdiscs and a Pioneer Elite laserdisc player stored away. I'll probably never play them again but I don't have the heart to toss them and haven't bothered to try to sell them. A shame as many of the discs I have include rare and desirable movies not available on blu-ray or DVD. : (
