...one Powell/Pressberger's string of absolutely phenomenal films in the forties. One of my favorites of theirs, although it's often opver-looked. The DVD transfer was supervised by cinematographer Erwin Miller and there are some tasty extras on Criterion's edition including home movies narrated by Thelma Schoonmaker, two interesting docs and excerpts from Powell's 1937 film The Edge Of The WOrld.

I also highly recommend P/P's The Life & Death of Colonel Blimp, The Red Shoes and Black Narcissus, if you haven't alreasy seen them.
