"Angel Face:" A terribly under-appreciated noir and Jean Simmons gives an

amazing performance. Herbert Marshall is fine, as always, but it's Mitchum who shines brightest. How can "Cape Fear" not make the list, too? "Out of the Past" is yet another Mitchum noir that has to rank at the very top.
