"The King's Man" (2021), $3.99 on Comcast pay-per-view. There are reasons why its cheap.

Ralph Fiennes as the pacifist Orlando, Duke of Oxford. Story set as prequel to WW1, this is a prequel to two previous Kingsmen movies -- and directly to "Kingsman: The Secret Service" (2014). I watched a half hour's worth and couldn't hang in.

But wait, there's more.

Not obvious to me when watching, the story follows and riffs on actual events that precipitated WW1.

For that, you would have to read up on WW1 history, Archduke Ferdinand, Rasputin, Romanovs, etc. You can do that with the attached link/review (SPOILER ALERT), after which I think this movie would become a lot more involving. Interesting stuff. But worth more than $3.99?
