'Knox Goes Away': The waning weeks of a killer . . .

Michael Keaton plays John Knox, a professional hitman, who gets a diagnosis of advanced dementia that can take only weeks. During this time he begins to bungle, help his estranged son, and cash out to help his ex-wife, son, and Thursday afternoon date (hooker).

Keaton directed and produced this "small" film with the added acting chops of two pocket battleship thespians: Pacino and Marsh Gay-Harden. This is drama-squared as Keaton begins to slide down the greased pole of losing it. The last frames of the film show Keaton staring out window of the facility with a look that defies reality. Gone.
