Connery did exude menace and was cruel, as was the book's character. Craig returned the franchise to respectability after Moore's attempt to make it light comedy. Outside of this latest one, that I found amusing in places, I enjoyed all the others. Certainly, the villains were amazing actors, mostly, and the action scenes were wonderful.

The female 007 was an epic mistake; unattractive actress, ZERO charisma, bad writing.
