Movies from comedy to drama to your favorite Hollyweird Star.

Have you ever seen any of the Chaplin imitators?

The range from adequate to inept and are proof positive that Chaplin was a great genius and innovator. An old saying goes, "imitation is the sincerest form of flattery." If that's the case then Chaplin was the most flattered man of his era.

When I see one of his films, or one of Keaton's, or Tati's I am awed by their talents and skills. They were, and are, comic giants upon whose shoulders the great comedians of today stand.

Two more Chaplin films you should see, if you haven't already: "Limelight" and "A King In New York." These aren't his best films but still worthy and proof that Chaplin was a great actor, too.
