It's OK. It appears to be made for a younger audience, so rehashes a lot of tick-a-box cliches. All the plot developments are telegraphed, so there are no surprises anywhere (gee, one of the female characters wants to be a singer, and there's a sleazy married Nazi who can get her a singing gig, so guess what she has to do for him?)

All of the characters are "good Germans" and are naturally horrified that Jews are being persecuted (one of their friends is conveniently a Jewish tailor).

Don't expect any deep insights into the Nazi era. There's also very little combat, so it's not like Band of Brothers (which was a brilliant character study of a group of men). On the plus side, it's very well produced and looks good.
