while i am far from perfect, I hope I never get to the stage in life where I will be complaining , as an adult, about Mary Poppins.

A kiddy movie, which I haven't even seen never have any interest in seeing and won't see, because it's a product for kids. Mary poppins comes back to the same kids, now grown,so not a full remake, just carrying over a popular character and a good marquee name.

I saw the trailer , looked ok to me , like a big money pro project with much better special effects than possible in the first. And I will take emma blunt over julie andrews any day. I give andrews credit for showing her tits in the victor victoria film , but she was always too uptight for me. I doubt they missed much with this film, Dick van dyke is flashed in the trailer as a long bearded sweep, from his costume.
