Movies from comedy to drama to your favorite Hollyweird Star.

I've got to give Columbia/Tri-Star credit for improving their Superbit releases:

12.238.114.147

They seem to be listening to us ...well, to me anyway! ;^)

Since posting suggestions at the Superbit website back in November a couple of interesting things have happened: 1) Future releases, starting with Hollow Man, will include second discs loaded with the extras typically found on jam-packed standard single disc releases, and 2) Starship Troopers is in the pipe for a 5/28 Superbit release! Yippeee! See linked URL to late's post, my response and other Superbit related comments.

As for Starship Troopers, even if you haven't been able to get into this film, it might very well end up being one of your favorite demo discs. It's beautifully rendered palette of colorful CGI effects are still among the best to date, IMO. Hey, if you just can't get into the SF bug-movie stuff, try imagining the bugs as relentless drone followers of Al Queda; then imagine that it's one of those over-the-top patriotic WWII actioners and you'll get right into the spirit! :o)

Cheers,
Audiophilander
