'13 Minutes': A dramatic look at a righteous assassin . . .

Posted by Billy Wonka on June 14, 2019 at 16:21:44:

Georg Elser was the man who attempted the first assassination of Hitler in 1939. The film combines drama with fact to deliver a compelling story of his life, love, attempt, torture, and ultimately his demise. Elser had a lot of brains and determination to pull off this attempt to save Germany before the worst started. He endured a lot in proving he was the only plotter.

Compelling and tense, this is worth seeing. Oddly, it took decades for Elser to be recognized as one of Germany's first resistance fighters.
