I was around 8 years old when I first started watching that show...

I tuned in JUST to see Diana Rigg! I thought the character of Steed was kind of a Fop and didn't quite measure up to the tension and excitement that Emma Peel brought to the show... I didn't know until recently that Honor Blackman was in the first season of the show... I must not have started watching until the 3rd or 4th season. Interesting that Blackman AND Rigg both went on to be Bond girls and Rigg of course became Mrs. James Bond. I JUST watched On Her Majesty's Secret Service recently for the first time. George Lazenby SUCKED as Bond. It's a shame that Sean Connery wasn't in that one, it would have been SO much better!
