I saw the trailer, that was more than enough for me. I liked her scripted work, but the singing, full drama queen was never a hit with me, but I guess it was smart to not rely strictly on her voice, which was not a very good instrument.

I favor the tommy Duncan singing style, the singer for bob wells and the texas play boys, where you just plant your feet and sing the song. No crying all over the stage or weird intonations trying to get back in tune.

sheesh, it's almost like someone stole all the comic books in town, so they switched to gay icons after the success of the queen movies. Elton john probably lived a story worth telling, but I don't care to single him beyond other probably interesting rock stars. Judy Garland? Who even remembers or cares. I would think mickey Rooney had a better story, as a male fighting persistent infantalization, like garland, but with no stage act.
