On second thought, I have to think it wasn't a drug deal as motivation for a killing, because I don't think the clan had enough money to get beyond the nickel and dime drug situations that don't get people killed.

Of course, those guys, the gang, had a low trigger point, so I could be wrong.

Did you catch the recreational sheet music used in the non murder house? Straight shooter, how odd.
