'Corporate' (2017): Multinational PTSD . . .

Posted by Billy Wonka on May 8, 2021 at 23:41:44:

A young woman on the "fast track" in a French multinational plays the HR game perfectly. She handles all the murderous, and endless, HR policies cooked up by her boss (Lambert Wilson who is the quintessential corporate-speak smoothie).

She is flying high doing things by the book when a problem employee, after a confrontation, propels himself out of a fourth-story window. Now government investigators arrive and Emilie must destroy the HR plan that caused the man to jump.

Quickly, all those brownie points vanish and Emilie finds herself becoming a scapegoat minute by minute.

This is well done and could give the suits here nightmares.
