RE: Promising Young Woman (2020)

Posted by RGA on May 25, 2021 at 17:35:49:

It's interesting that this film was so polarizing for people.

Carey Mulligan starred in "The Dig" as well and it took me a while to put it together that she was the same actress.

The film I enjoyed because I generally like the revenge tale (which is why I like Dexter).

I understand why certain "men" don't like it because they like their women chained to the radiator and who should only speak when spoken to.

When I saw Carey Mulligan on the Craig Ferguson show I kept thinking she should star in an Audrey Hepburn biopic.

She also starred in one of the best episodes of Doctor Who called Blink. This episode is said to the the episode to show to someone who has never seen an episode of Doctor Who. Mulligan was excellent in it.
