'Brassed Off'...HIGHLY recommended

One of my faves; watched the BRD again last nite.. It's a barely OK transfer but better than DVD.

It may well be a working man's anthem, but that's OK with me.. FIVE-star acting from Pete Postlewaite, a young Ewan McGregor, and the fellow who plays Postelwaite's down-on-his-luck son (can't find his name).

GREAT British-wind-band music, interesting people-oriented story.. Includes an arrangement for Rodrigo's '...Aranjuez..." slow movement that's quite attractive.
