Speaking of Napoleon, is anyone familiar with "Waterloo"?

Big budget, big stars, cast of thousands, historically accurate - yet this 1970 film only got yawns and brickbats from most critics. Meanwhile, the public, as indicated on Rotten Tomatoes, gave it an 83% favorable rating. For some reason, the film was much more popular in England than it was in France. ;-)

I haven't seen it, but was wondering if anyone here has.
