'Serial Killer 1': Based on a true story . . .

Posted by Billy Wonka on October 28, 2016 at 22:02:36:

And a damned good story at that. This film details the painstaking and frustrating investigation of Paris' first named serial killer. The film is cleverly edited taking us back and forth between the killings and the building investigation. An investigation that became split between two "36" homicide teams and hamstrung with French DNA testing laws. After seven years and tons of evidence, the perp was finally persuaded to confess to all seven killings in court to the families. (A gripping scene.)

High drama, action, and great performances, all contained within this tightly staged and edited vehicle.

Highly recommended. (NF StreaM)
