The Galapagos Affair

Posted by Awe-d-o-file on November 25, 2016 at 16:19:12:

Subtitled Satan goes to Eden is a well told documentary. It also uses a somewhat unique presentation style.

It tells the story of a small handfull of Europeans that resettled in one of the uninhabited islandscin the Galapagos group.

The original pair were fed up with the pace of modern life in 1929 Germany. Later another couple shows then a woman and two gents that want to consider building a hotel there.

The story unfolds like the strange unsolved mystery it remains today. Its worth watching. Lots of interesting photos and characters as well as some film footage.

Of course there were modern interviews with living relatives and the like.
