one last post...

Posted by cloudwalker on October 5, 2014 at 20:08:04:

I came here to learn new things to improve the sound of my system, which I did. I want to thank all of you. I am amazed everytime I listen so this will be my last post. I might improve my system another 5%, but I do not want to spend $10,000 more dollars to do that. I have tried many of your ideas, but I think the two things that really matter are buying good equipment to start with (especially speakers) and place them correctly. I think for people live in areas where consistent power is a problem a voltage stabilizer will help. ……...
I picked up a pair of KEF 103.2’s in mint condition at a thrift store for $6, but I usually use my ADS L710’s because they have a midrange driver and that area is a little clearer with them. I like what a subwoofer can add to a system. Atlantic Tech may not make speakers with the best finishes, but from what I have seen I am impressed that they build speakers the way they should be.
I would like to comment on one post I saw in the “general” asylum.. Importance of WAF and heads up for muscle car and Harley owners. Reading some of the posts was sickening. A healthy family beats a healthy sound system anyway. Get a life guys…Happy listening…
