It wasn't the transport. The Drawer wouldn't open.

I had it fixed by Marantz, but cost almost $300.
The original part lasted over 5 years, but the repair/replacement of a module of some sort only last a year or so.
It's now out of production, and I wouldn't have it repaired again.
The Sony 1000ES is only $500.
But I wouldn't want to have to turn on the TV just to play a CD or SACD.
I'm considering the new Pioneer at $1000, but no reviews yet.
Streaming is fine on Amazon Prime/Netflix, but I have a number of DVDs I want to be able to watch too.
