of the vibrant, often brilliant and exciting series.

Mighty fine acting, lax directing, for shit editing and the obvious, sad and painful
results of David Milch's descent into the labyrinth of Alzheimers. That would be the
problem with something SO WELL written residing on the back of someone that
just can not write as well anymore. And David Milch is ALL about his writing.

If they had made it even five years ago it may have worked.

Seemed a nostalgic, painstaking journey to a time and place that may
have thrived at one point, but was impossible to recreate.

Watch the series, it is worthy and then some.

The movie, basically, is not.
