Silly recommendation needed

Posted by Victor Khomenko on June 3, 2019 at 15:46:28:

On a whim I decided to make my home theater system work again. Within reason.

I replaced my rather old projector with a very nice Sony VPL-HW40ES (bought used with very low hours on it). And I immediately noticed the inadequacy of my old screen. It was obtained back when every bit of brightness was salvages, hence it has 1.3 gain - creating hot spot. So a new one is needed, and I am trying to figure out exactly what to do there.

Now... here is the problem. My video collection has mostly good films... meaning - they usually make lousy demos. So I need a couple of great image BR's.

It is moderately OK if it is some silly action flick. I would, of course, prefer something that I would like to see, but those two things rarely coincide.

So here it goes - the spectacular video recommendations of something sorta watchable. :)

BTW - Netflix streaming is OK too! In fact, it's "even more better". :)
