It's been so long that I don't remember all the details of where we are. But that mattered less than being back in this world....the wide angle shots, overhead shots, the synthesizer washes and pulsing drum machines, the direct talking to us the viewers as "friend", the dimly understood global shenanigans of ecorp, white rose and the dark army, the casual reveal that the awkward dinner guest is a shadowy threatening spy...It seems unlikely that this whole thing can actually resolve in story terms, but I eat up the atmosphere as I did from the beginning.
