The show had well-defined characters, on point writing and direction.. What's not to like? Kind of the same premise as Cheers but in NYC... I worked alot of nights back then, so I missed alot of these shows. Another couple of series that I watched in the last few years were Frasier and Everybody Loves Raymond....again same points as I pointed out for Friends... Funny stuff!
