Forgive me, but I served on submarines...

Didn't think the black & white added anything to the production.

We jacked off, all the time, but we were USUALLY decent enough to just keep it to our "patrol socks."

These pathetic whiners were only there a MONTH. I did 105+ days SUBMERGED, and at the end of the patrol? 3 people went to court(s) martial, because they actually FED the crew, out of the ship's stores/freezer, after we'd been living on ketchup soup for a week.

They had a wave come crashing over & break the windows? We were at sea state 7+ in the North Atlantic, and even at XXX(X) feet, we were taking 45 degree rolls - to the point that our relief ship was delayed, because someone flew out of the rack, (while they were submerged at XXX feet, shattered his leg, and had to be "medivacced."

Yeah, this movie is just a couple of assholes, who can't otherwise get by in life, bitching about the fact that they have to work for a living, for a few weeks.

Alternate view? My wife liked it less than I did, but we both thought "Joker" was pretty awesome.

Will say? The actors did a great job, and they really do deserve some credit.
