There are far better K movies than director Bong's

Posted by Jon L on February 12, 2020 at 17:04:43:

Bong's problem is trying to push his "message" and symbolism often at the expense of the grand cinematic storytelling and joyful entertainment.
Thus I found Parasite rather boring...

For entertaining Korean cinematic experience, I prefer:
The Yellow Sea
The Chaser
Man From Nowhere
I Saw Devil
Oldboy
My Sassy Girl
The Wailing
Architecture 101
A Moment To Remember
New World
A Bittersweet Life
Sunny
SPRING, SUMMER, FALL, WINTER...- AND SPRING
