Lions for Lambs: Super Star Mega Turd

Posted by mr grits on November 9, 2007 at 17:11:10:

Politics aside, a piece of crap is a piece of crap. This was a BAD movie, poorly conceived, poorly directed and edited, and topped off by less than stellar performances. Streep actually reeked. Redford so-so. Cruise was the shining star as a new age Dick Cheney.

This "message" movie gave the audience plenty of lefty and righty rhetoric wrapped around an abbreviated story about two of Redford's promising students who wanted to "make a difference".

The rhetoric seemed fairly equal until the end when Redford (who directed) showed his hand as an antiwar advocate.

Irregardless of politics, nothing could polish this cinematic turd.
