There is a name for that type of documentary style

It is called a polemic. Moore never said for a moment that F9/11 was anything but. Most great political documentaries are.
F9/11 is not only the most successful documentary in the history of film, it is also the most vetted. Where are all the lawsuits? The most prominent, the $85 million suit brought by a vet depicted in the film, was thrown out immediately by the judge who heard the case. The documentary with the biggest bullseye on it's back in history and that's it?
Does the Bush family not, for a fact, have connections to the Saudis? In retrospect, wasn't Iraq relatively peaceful before the bombs fell compared to the mayhem of the last five years?
If anything, it's even worse now if you think about it. Look at the economic picture, the national debt, the financial crisis, OIL PRICES. This country elected two men deeply connected to the oil industry and they invaded the 2nd largest oil producing nation on earth for reasons that turned out to be false. The result is oil prices of $115 a barrel and trillions in profits for the oil companies and trillions of debt for the American people. Do you really want to say that Michael Moore is the bad guy here?
Upton Sinclair probably wasn't a perfect human being either, but back then at least, the public seemed to be more receptive to dire warnings...
