10,000 BC got a bad rap

Posted by DWPC on August 5, 2008 at 12:27:15:

It was a "desperation" Netflix choice down several slots on our queue. It snuck up to the top when a couple choices above it came up unavailable. When it arrived, I almost put it right back in the envelope for return. Heard nothing but bad about it. But we decided, what the hell, if its as bad as reported we'll stop it.

Well, it was actually an entertaining popcorn flick. Some lame CGI of animals, but it had (for a cave man story) an interesting plot, some not-bad acting and a script that right moved along. Those points alone put it in the 50th percentile.

As the guy who jumped off the 20-story building shouted as he passed the 10th Floor "So far..so good!"
