"Chronically Unfeasible:" a scathing indictment of Brazil, a land known

for racial tolerance and happy-go-lucky poor.
Haha.....
Not on your life, actually, as this film shows. Some reviewers were obviously upset that the director explodes the stereotypes which carefully have been nurtured by Brazil's upper classes. Actually, Brazil has the least dispersed wealth in the world: fewer families control more wealth than in ANY other country on earth. The resentment and feeling of powerlessness and hopelessness fuels a class rage which boils--- unseen but deeply felt--- beneath social interactions. The explosions occur in violent crime: Rio and Sao Paulo rank among the most dangerous cities on earth.
But don't let me mislead you: this is an entertaining satire, a skewering with intelligence and rightly-famous Brazilian humor to temper its vitriol.
This is a "must see" for those curious about the world's fastest emerging super power.
