Another not great movie, at least in my mind. I watched the full, nearly three hour version. It simply moved too slow. And in a time of war the traitor Pablo was given way too many chances. No way it was realistic.

Interesting that the name of the hero, Robert Jordan, is the pen name of James Oliver Rigney, Jr, the author of the Wheel of Time fantasy books.

And the speech Gary gave Ingrid at the end of the movie was as sappy is it was vapid.

So sorry for dissing this classic, flame away.
