Repetitive Movie Viewing Disintegration . . .

Posted by mr grits on December 11, 2009 at 09:36:27:

Maybe I'm an OCD candidate but I will watch a movie quite a few times over a short period of time if I am particularly charmed by it. What I have noticed is that I reach a point of satiety in which the movie becomes non-nonsensical and incongruent. It's hard to explain but it's similar to repeating a word over and over until it seems to make no sense. The film breaks down into a jigsaw puzzle that no long seems to fit together. I will have to put it away for a very long time in order for it to make sense once again.

Crazy?
