At the Movies has been cancelled

This is a show I watched ever since it was called Sneak Previews on PBS. That's a long time. I watched the struggles with hosts after Gene Siskel left due to cancer and then after Ebert left, also due to cancer. With the 2 current hosts, I thought it had settled into a good groove again. I particularly like A.O. Scott and read him in the NY Times.

I always just enjoyed the short update on what had just come out, with the clips and then the reviews. In recent years, the reviewers were not very reliable to me, but these current two are worthwhile and quite dependable.

I will miss that half hour each week. Yes, I can go to rotten tomatoes, but it's not the same.
