Do Netflix Streaming Movies appear in as high quality

Posted by ArdRi on April 4, 2011 at 16:10:26:

as a DVD on a Plasma 1080p TV? I upgraded my PC and have an Intel chip which handles HD graphics internally and a motherboard with an HDMI port and a Netflix membership.

So far streaming to the 17" CRT monitor is underwhelming as would be imagined even if I have the audio running through one of Victor's Amps to floor standing speakers. I want to know how these streaming movies look on a newer Plasma TV and if they look indistinguishable from a DVD or whether they still have that slightly fuzzy edged appearance I find even on the small monitor...any feedback is appreciated..
