HOT! Really, Really $%#$@^# HOT! ;-)

Alright, it is not New Mexico HOT, but pretty damn hot nonetheless.

(I lived in Socorro, NM, for a couple of years, and THAT was one hot place to live. Over 105 degrees for 12 straight days one summer! So hot the tar was leaching out of the pavement, so you left black footprints on the sidewalk after crossing the street! Yikes! Never again!)

Back to Sac. There are a couple of good points about Sac. They have a couple of good restaurants, if you like good food, (not fine dining, but good food with a decent atmosphere). Specifically the Streets of London is a really good English type pub, (with a great burger and good English beer on tap), and Chicago Fire is a good deep dish pizza place, with a fun party atmosphere, (and a lot of decent looking ladies in there, which is always a plus in my book!) ;-)

As far as music (shopping) is concerned, there are a couple of decent vinyl stores, including Dimple Records, (mostly new, with a bit of used), The Beat (new and used), and Esoteric Records, (for used only).

Crime is pretty high, but if you can afford to live out of town, (assuming the horrible commute doesn't affect you), then there are some decent places to live, especially if you can afford to go closer to the mountains.

My two cents worth anyway.
