'The Fall' - - "This is a f**ked up town . . . "

Posted by Billy Wonka on June 30, 2013 at 12:00:30:

Which is Gillian Anderson's quick assessment of Belfast as she dodges rocks from an assembled crowd angry with the police. Anderson plays a souless bitch criminal investigator on loan to the Belfast police to help investigate the unsolved murders of two attractive professional women. As she begins digging into the cases more bodies start piling up proving her serial killer theory.

This is a very well done mystery series filled with tons of character development and put together in such a way that it has both pace and insights. We see Anderson, the killer, and attendant characters weaving through the story showing us how complicated they are.

The sad thing is that Netflix is carrying season one which is only five hours long. By the end of the last episode we see that Anderson and the killer will now make it personal between them as the story continues.

Very good...take a look.
