'Jobs' - - A-Hole 101

Posted by Billy Wonka on August 17, 2013 at 17:42:21:

It's Jobs life, not Ashton Kutcher, that makes me glad he got cancer. I guess it is hard to tell Jobs' story and make him look less like a narcissist than he really was. There will be a lot of Apple Lovers who will still be in awe of such a "creative genius" despite the galactic size of his ego that crushed and destroyed many loyal around him.

Kutcher was so-so in this silicon soap opera but his supporting cast was excellent in playing out both Jobs' and Apple's history. The screenplay managed to compress a lot of history into a very understandable time line. (I had completely forgotten about NeXT.) This film played like a bigger budget vehicle than it was so that's a good point. This is a good historical overview but not necessarily a vehicle that will make Jobs a warm and fuzzy icon.
