'Mawking Jay': Get in touch with your inner girlie . . .

Posted by Billy Wonka on November 21, 2014 at 15:19:20:

Yep, better dose up with estrogen for two days before seeing this lifeless, repetitive repeat of the first two masterpieces. Only a teen girl could find anything remotely compelling about this completely unimaginative series of films and books. I'm embarrassed that my boredom drug me into the ticket booth.

So, Katnipness is goaded into being a poster child for the revolution against Pan America (somebody wants a free Porsche). Prez Snow does some callous bombing of hospitals just to show he means business while Katnipness is agitating over the Peter who looks to be a brainwash victim of PA. Kat has just gone over the hill with her "love" of Peter to the extent that it belongs in a teen novel. (Wot, it came from a . . . ) To a chronological adult (myself) I found plenty to be angry about with Kat.

Nice ending but not nice enough to actually go to the theater.

Yeah, I shoulda stayed at home.
