Captain America: Civil War

My wife and I finally went and saw this movie last Sunday.
(This movie was released on May 6th, about 7 weeks ago or so.)
So, we split up, with me to go into the theater to grab some seats, as the movie was going to start at 4:35, (while my wife grabbed some popcorn and a drink). So, with less than ten minutes before the start time, I go into the theater and get really good seats, (almost dead center of the theater), as it was only about 15% full. Of course since this movie had been out for seven weeks, that made sense.
My wife came in about 5 minutes later, and it had filled up a bit more, maybe 25% full by then. She then dropped off the popcorn and drink and went to the restroom, as it is a fairly long movie, (146 minutes). She comes back just as the trailers are about to start at 4:35, and the theater is now 35% full.
Over the next 15~20 minutes a constant stream of people come into the theater, so that by the time the actual movie starts, it is at nearly 100% capacity. (So full in fact, that the usher had to have people scoot over on each of the rows to make room for people to sit at the ends of the aisles).
Amazing! (I would never have thought that this movie would be so popular as to be full after seven weeks. I know it has a 90% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, but still....)
Oh, in case you were wondering about the movie itself, it was pretty good for a comic book movie. Better than the other Captain America movies, (of which I am not much of a fan). It was really more of an Avengers movie to be honest, as there where a dozen superheroes in the movie. I would say it was not as good as the first Avengers movie, (but what movie could be, as that was a great comic book movie, IMHO), but better than the second Avengers movie, (The Age of Ultron), which was just okay.
My two cents worth!
