Mike and Dave need Wedding Dates...

Posted by mkuller on July 10, 2016 at 18:00:43:

...two single brothers have a history of setting each other off to outdo each other at family functions which they end up ruining.

Their younger sister is about to be married in Hawaii so their parents do an interevention - if the brothers come they have to bring dates to keep them from acting out and hitting on the other girls there.

The brothers run an ad and interview a number of girls, all interested in a free trip to Hawaii. They end up with a couple of girls much like themselves, partying losers, who tell the brothers they are a school teacher and a hedge fund manager.

In Hawaii, much raunchy madcap action ensues.

After reading a few reviews I had hoped this would be the new Hangover or Something About Mary, but I was disappointed.

While there are amusing scenes and even a couple that are funny, it is not the hilarious laughfest I had hoped for.

I'd give it a C.
