Dolby Atmos in the swamp . . .

Posted by Billy Wonka on October 21, 2016 at 14:58:18:

Today was my first exposure to Atmos. One my favortie theaters is finally converting it screens and I must say it is impressive. The Dolby promo leading into the movie really shows what it can do. The 360 thing is good and it seems to be properly done. I'm not sure what had to be done to upgrade the sound system but the addition of a hundred subwoofers must have been necessary. Nice, clean, tight subwoofers.

Anybody got an idea of what an upgrade entails in a theater?
