Samsung and Netflix

Posted by Victor Khomenko on November 22, 2016 at 07:04:47:

Yesterday Samsung did update to their smart TV's, that made it impossible to access Netflix.

We spent three hours on the phone with Netflix, Comcast and then trying to get through to Samsung, but the solution was readily available on Internet - a quick search lead me there.

Anyway, if you are experiencing that issue, you need to change the Network setting parameter DNS to 8.8.8.8. It worked like a charm.

Unfortunately no representative of those companies was able to tell us about that simple fix.

Shame on Samsung for releasing defective software!
