mkuller- Thanks for your reply. I can understand "Baby Driver" being seen as "a lot of fun" and I'm glad you enjoyed the film.

I kept thinking about the lineage of where "Baby ..." came from. Tarantino? Maybe "Pulp Fiction"?

I remember how entertaining and groundbreaking Pulp Fiction was when I first saw it.

I also compared "soulmates" Baby and Deborah to Mickey and Mallory in NBK. There was such a void of sexual chemistry between Baby and Deborah - it almost seemed strange to see them kissing.
