He directed and played in City of Ghosts, 2002.

Which I thought was a great story, well acted, filmed on location in Cambodia. Included James Caan and Stefan Skarsgard, along with many Cambodian extras and minor part actors.
It was his first directing job, very authentic, done well IMO. Check it out.
