RE: Where on earth did you hear the "right wing" . . .

Posted by beach cruiser on January 15, 2019 at 04:12:37:

I listen to a lot of radio, and read the news, both media where the flag thing got some run,as news, when the movie was in general release,

but I first heard that all good right wingers shouldn't attend this movie, from, of all places, a car forum.

It seems there are a lot of angry white guys driving corvettes .

A lot of southern corvette guys post that identify as very right wing. I wade through post after post seeking knowledge to better steward my car among folks that act like it is a patriotic duty to rip off all smog controls, install headers, supercharger and a mail order tune.

If you want to know where to best place your handgun(s) in the limited space of a corvette interior , or change a C5 alternator, both surprisingly difficult, I read it on line. Just like the anti first man movie stuff.

For instance, one guy posted a multi day elaborate photo instruction of his engine valve train upgrade and supercharger installation, all done with a .38 on his belt, cause you never know when the bad guys will show up. I've been to texas, so wasn't shocked,

I am, however, surprised at some of the effort they expend on cars without much interest in body and mind health. A lot of retribution, fears they can't control and a strict father seems to be a common deal among some who DIY on corvettes.

It's not a bad car, just has a bad rep.

Since I am on the subject, I think the problem some saw in the movie was that it showed government as being able to solve problems, useful. Government protective and police functions are the only control on the rich, so government must be attacked.
