When are these mindless 'super hero' movies going to die off?

After watching guardians of the galaxy 2 and that academy award nominated Africa fantasy, I stopped going to anything super hero. If I get some spooky tooth then I want a good science fiction that makes some sense. You have to be a serious fan boy and are familiar with the super hero genre to make any sense of the movies.
